Executive Vice President at Microchip
Rich Simoncic is the executive vice president of Microchip Technology. Rich has held ascending management-level positions with Microchip since its inception in 1989. Most recently, he was senior vice president of Microchip’s Analog & Interface Products Division (APID) since the division was formed in July 2001.
Since 1989, Simoncic has established numerous empowered teams that have improved or developed systems and device/manufacturing process technologies for several Microchip Business Units. He is also credited with implementing progressive statistical and training techniques that have brought world-class manufacturing yields to Microchip’s manufacturing operations. Rich founded Microchips entry into Analog products in 1998. The analog business now represents 25% of Microchips’ annual revenue, as a result of a series of acquisitions and organic growth initiatives.

As CEO of Menlo Microsystems (Menlo Micro), Russ oversees the corporate direction and strategy of the company, focusing on leadership, technology innovation and customers. Prior to Menlo Micro, Russ founded nGeniSys, an investment and consulting firm focused on the electronics, semiconductor, and telecommunications industries.

Today Michael is President and CEO of Endries International, a leading supplier of industrial fasteners and related materials to some of the world’s largest original equipment manufacturers. He also is a member of the Board of Directors for Macrofab, an innovator in Manufacturing as a Service that is modernizing the way that electronics OEMs design and build their products.
