In this product demonstration, BMS Systems and Applications Engineer Amélie Meyer showcases a high voltage battery management system use case featuring NXP's MC33771C. The MC33771C is a lithium-ion battery cell controller IC designed for automotive and industrial applications such as HEV, EV, ESS, and UPS systems. It features ADC conversions on differential cell voltages - averaging up to 256 samples and currents and coulomb counting and temperature measurements. It includes embedded balancing transistors and diagnostics to simplify applications.
