Zeph Freeman Product Group and Global Marketing Manager, AIS Business Unit, Microchip Technology Currently as a Product Group and Global Marketing Manager for Microchip Technology, Zeph Freeman is responsible for the global marketing strategy of Microchips Industrial Data and Video Transceiver products, which includes CoaXPress, SDI- Serial Digital Interface, USB3.2 and Ethernet over Coax products, as well as a few others. He has served in various roles, retired as manager for strategic marketing and business development at Texas Instruments and joined EqcoLogic NV, a start-up, as Vice President of Business Development, which was later acquired by Microchip Technology. During that time he was responsible for International Business Development and Marketing of EqcoLogic products. Zeph has held various marketing, business development, and manufacturing engineering and management positions during his 30- year career in the semiconductor industry. With over two decades of electronics industry experience, Zeph’s disciplines span many areas including high-speed digital interface technologies, video display solutions, DLPTM new business development, automation and tooling design, small form factor displays which included LED, OLED and LCD displays. During his career he’s had the opportunity to work with development programs across multiple application spaces, including: military technology development, digital photo printing, machine vision, Automotive infotainment and lighting and high speed buses, small form factor displays, DLP new business applications and mixed signal solutions. Zeph has a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering from Prairie View A&M University and a Master’s of Business degree from the University of Dallas and a Certified Project Manager from Villanova University.
