Mustafa Bakr received his B.Sc. degree (Hons.) from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 2012, a M.Sc. degree (Hons.) from the University of Leeds, Leeds, U.K., in 2015, and a Ph.D. degree (Hons.) from the Graz University of Technology, Graz, Austria, in 2018. Mustafa's early employment was at the University of Technology. Since 2016, he has been with the Graz University of Technology and the University of Leeds. He also works with Radio Design Ltd., Shipley, U.K. His current research interests include passive microwave filter and antenna design for IoT and mobile communication. Dr. Bakr is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, U.K., a member of the IEEE and IET. He was a recipient of the IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship Award for the year 2017, Erasmus Grant from 2016 to 2017, the Best Poster Award at EWSN2017, and the Best Demo Award at SenSys 2017.
