Geir Ostrem, ADI Fellow, drives advanced technology development and strategy for the Automotive business unit at ADI. Geir has spent more than 30 years in the semiconductor industry, focusing on IC design and engineering management of high-speed, mixed signal ICs for automotive and communication systems. Prior to Maxim’s acquisition by ADI in 2021, he was named a Maxim Fellow in 2015 for innovations in RF DA-Converters that enabled dense DOCSIS cable head ends and broadband wireless transmitters. He received his Dr. Ing. (Ph. D) degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 1996 on high-speed A-D-converters.
