I’m a technical trainer specializing in Hybrid / Electric vehicles. Currently we run 4-day classroom based courses with a focus on power electronics, motor drives, inverter-converter circuitry etc. Our classes have seen unprecedented demand due to the rapid shift towards vehicle electrification. I’m always looking for new ideas and content. I design and build circuits for easy demonstration on bench which simulate / demonstrate the various systems key to the efficiencies required for contemporary vehicle design. Typically the circuits I build demonstrate buck-boost, inverters, sine PWM, motor drives / 3-phase bridge, resolver / position sensing, battery management etc etc.

We need the application of this technology in some hotter region of Uganda #East Africa

The kit has the basic components to build filters, chokes, oscillators, power regulator devices. The kit will be helpful to the educators like me to showcase the importance of various types of magnetic components along with capacitors, resistors in different circuits to the school and PUC level students. General automotive circuits like horn circuit, Lighting circuit, ignition circuit, motor drive circuits, DC-DC converters, etc. It will be a good opportunity for me to showcase the importance of the magnetic components in oscillatory, filter, driver, power deliver circuits in automotive applications to my college students and basic learner community members with the giveaway components. The kit will help to conduct hands-on experiments for Mechanical, ECE, EEE students.
