Maximizing Efficiency and Power Density: Overcoming Static Protection Challenges with OptiMOS™ Linear FET 2 100V

Join our webinar to explore how the OptiMOSTM 5 Linear FET 2 in 100 V addresses the challenges of protection systems and learn how the new technology provides the highest efficiency and power density while reducing PCB space and BOM cost.

In this webinar, we will explore the specific design challenges that are associated with static protection switches and how the new OptiMOSTM 5 Linear FET 2 in 100 V addresses these challenges.

OptiMOSTM 5 Linear FET 2 in 100 V was designed to provide the lowest RDS(on) and a robust safe operating area (SOA) in the same device. Combined with an optimized transfer characteristic that allows for improved current sharing, this makes it an ideal device for battery protection in battery management Systems (BMS) by enabling higher power density with less components for overall system cost optimization.

Additionally, this is a great fit for hot-swap systems that use the linear mode operation for inrush current protection and are commonly found in telecom, servers, and AI servers.

Join our upcoming webinar to delve into the design challenges of static protection switches and see how the technological advancements of the OptiMOSTM 5 Linear FET 2 in 100 V enable the highest power density and efficiency with the lowest possible part count.
