Bruce Hemp, Senior Applications Engineer and Section Leader, Analog Devices Bruce Hemp graduated in 1980 from California State University, Fullerton with his B.S. degree in engineering. He has held various systems, board-level, and applications engineering positions. Since 2012, Hemp has been a senior applications engineer and section leader with Analog Devices.
Michiel Kouwenhoven, Design Manager, RF Products, Analog Devices Michiel Kouwenhoven received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands. He has been managing design and application engineering teams on RF circuit design, particularly RF power detectors at various companies (National Semiconductor, Linear Technology and now Analog Devices) for close to 20 years. Currently, he is a Product Line Manager at Analog Devices, responsible for managing the business and development team of ADI’s RF Power Measurement portfolio.

RF Detectors Help Solve System Design Challenges

In partnership with Analog Devices

In this on-demand webinar, Analog Devices explores the various types of RF power detectors available for today's designs. The presenters cover, among other things,  Schottky, Log, Successive Detection Log Video Amplifiers (SDLVA), and Root Mean Square (rms) power detectors over the course of this 45-minute session. The webinar also reviews how these detectors can be used to simplify system designs. Finally, the video covers some key applications such as power control in transmitter applications, military, and aerospace communications.
