Joerg Koepp is a Market Segment and Technology Manager responsible for driving T&M business in the wireless connectivity market at Rohde & Schwarz. He focuses on technologies such as Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi, and UWB, in which role he is also representing Rohde & Schwarz in the FiRa consortium. Jörg has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry and is well known as a speaker and host of webinars and the video series “Let’s talk IoT”. Prior to joining Rohde & Schwarz, he worked as a System Architect, Project Leader, and Director of System Engineering and Technology Strategy Manager at Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks. He also had the pleasure of running one of the first Wi-Fi field trials in Germany more than 20 years ago.

Günter Pfeifer Product Manager, Rohde & Schwarz

ABOUT

Günter Pfeifer is a senior product manager for mobile radio testers at the Rohde & Schwarz headquarters in Munich, Germany. He joined Rohde & Schwarz in 1997 and has 20+ years of experience in the field of mobile communications as a product manager responsible for radio communications testers. Günter is well-versed in various 3GPP cellular technologies, ranging from 2G to 5G, and has spent much time on mobile broadband topics. This has led to his involvement in 5G technology management as well as 5G FR2 OTA. Recently, his focus has changed to non-cellular wireless connectivity standards - in particular, WLAN. Günter holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Kempten, Germany.
