This presentation will explore the benefits of the L9963E Li-ion battery monitoring and protection IC from STMicroelectronics as well as the device’s architecture, accuracy, and companion transceiver. We will also discuss application examples and target use cases. 

Additionally, we will cover the isoSPI bus and the role of BMS transformers in providing isolation for communication between battery management modules and the system controller. Learn more about the isolation requirements for BMS, high voltage challenges, and practical PCB layout tips.
