Alex Chernyakov Alex Chernyakov has worked in the MEMS industry for 7 years, gaining expertise in the usage of sensors in the Industrial and Consumer spaces. As an experienced Applications Engineer with a background in consumer and industrial electronics design, she is passionate about supporting customers with the integration of MEMS accelerometers in a variety of applications, including in the Machine Health Monitoring space. In June 2015, Alex demonstrated the capabilities of Kionix (ROHM Group Company) accelerometers at the Sensors Expo Conference in Long Beach, CA using a small-scale industrial mockup. Since then, she has been working closely with engineers from leading industrial companies to learn what challenges they face and what capabilities today’s products are missing. Outside of the office, Alex enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Industry Virtual Workshop: Using Accelerometers Made for Industry 4.0 and Smart Factories

In partnership with ROHM Semiconductor

ROHM Semiconductor's Virtual Workshop: Accelerometers for Industry 4.0 and Smart Factories

Join ROHM Semiconductor for this hands-on virtual workshop, where you will learn what makes ROHM's KX132-1211 & KX134-1211 accelerometers suited to tackle the challenges of Industry 4.0 and Smart Factories. ROHM Senior Applications Engineer Alex Chernyakov will go over the unique features of these devices, which have been designed from the ground up for applications like Machine Health Monitoring.

Learn how to work with ROHM's RKX-EVK-001 development kit in this workshop.

During the hands-on portion of the workshop, attendees will work with ROHM's evaluation and development kit, learning how to utilize its powerful Windows-based desktop application to evaluate the sensor data in real time.

Attendees are encouraged to buy the development board and evaluation kit ahead of time, but anyone is welcome to register!
