Being responsible for the global market segment Research & Universities he is now looking into key topics in science and technology to unveil new potentials for Rohde & Schwarz test and measurement solutions.

ABOUT

Tim Ashworth is head of product marketing for test and measurement products at Zurich Instruments, a Rohde & Schwarz company. Before joining Zurich Instruments as an application scientist, Tim obtained his PhD at the University of Manchester, UK, in the field of nanoscale surface science. He then used lock-in technology and phase-locked loops to boost the performance of home-built scanning probe microscopes at the University of Basel and later at a spin-off company commercializing these powerful microscopes.
