Ted Marena is the director of the RISC-V ecosystem at Western Digital, where he leads strategic marketing efforts in support of the company’s RISC-V-related technology and industry contributions, and supports the continued expansion of the RISC-V ecosystem. A frequent author and speaker, Marena has over 25 years of experience in the electronics industry. Prior to Western Digital, Marena was the director of business development and outbound marketing at Microsemi, a wholly owned subsidiary of Microchip Technology Inc. Previously, Marena held roles in design engineering, technical sales/support, business development and marketing. Marena has served as marketing chair of the RISC-V Foundation since 2016 year. Marena holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Business Administration from Bentley College's Elkin B. McCallum Graduate School of Business.
