Of particular importance is the ability to quickly and reliably detect fires. Recent regulatory initiatives such as UL217 ed 8 have been formulated to address these issues, but there have been unique challenges in passing these regulations. Paramount throughout all of this is the need for smaller, low power smoke detection solutions.
