Bivar RHD Series Rigid Light Pipe

Bivar’s new IP67 rated “heavy duty” rigid light pipe, RHD series, is used in rugged industrial-grade applications, incorporating IP67 lensing from Bivar Flexible Light Pipes to enable product designers with a compact alternative to flexible light pipes in space-constrained applications in enclosures and on PCBs.
These heavy-duty Rigid light pipes are available in a panel press-fit hover style to meet stringent design conditions in tight spaces.
The RHD Series incorporates a sealing ring, lock washer, and hex nut to ensure maximum ingress protection.
This series comes in vertical and right-angled configurations, six standard lengths, two lens sizes, and assorted lens colors.
Developed for new product designs where a surface-mount LED is located on a densely populated PCB leaving no room to board mount a light pipe, the RHD series is ideal for healthcare, transportation, renewable energy, communications, and industrial automation applications.
