Cx Family Common Mode Chokes
Coilcraft XGL4020 series offer the industry’s lowest DC losses and extremely low AC losses over a wide frequency range, making them ideal for DC to DC converters with switching frequencies from hundreds of kHz to beyond 5 MHz. The inductors also offer superior current handling, with saturation current as high as 15.2 A and soft saturation characteristics.
The series also offers improved RMS current ratings. When paired with the low DCR, this allows XGL4020 series inductors to operate cooler than competing solutions. The inductors are AEC-Q200 Grade 1 qualified for operation at ambient temperatures up to 125°C and a maximum part temperature of 165°C.
Inductance values range from 0.33 to 8.2 µH and parts are rated for up to 80 volts.
