This New Product Brief (NPB) is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.

Intel Optane Memory Modules

Intel Optane Memory modules are the result of the 3D XPoint memory paired with Intel IP to deliver unprecedented performance. 3D XPoint memory is a new high density, low latency, nonvolatile memory technology that, and is the first truly new memory technology in decades. Intel Optane Memory modules are paired with traditional hard drives to provide more affordable high capacity storage with SSD performance.

The modules are available in 16 GB and 32 GB capacities and use the M.2 connector available on modern computing platforms. Intel software automatically learns computing behavior to determine which files to make available on the Intel Optane Memory module for maximum system responsiveness.

  • Capacity: 16 GB, 32 GB
