Laird BL654 BLE Thread NFC Modules
Laird BL654 BLE Thread NFC modules let developers easily add NFC, BLE 5.0, and 802.15.4 thread connectivity to small devices while consuming very little power. BL654 modules are offered with integrated antennas for design simplification or external antenna connectors for improved radiation efficiency, with up to +8dBm transmit power and receive sensitivity as low as -103dBm, providing long-range communication. The module is based on Nordic’s nRF52840, including a full Arm Cortex-M4 with FPU and CryptoCell, and is programmable using Laird’s smartBASIC or the Nordic SDK. Laird BL654 development kits provide developers a platform for rapid wireless connectivity prototyping, with multiple interface and power options.
