TDK Rechargeable Solid-State SMD Battery

TDK’s CeraCharge Rechargeable Solid-State SMD Battery is a compact, solid-state SMD battery ideal for IoT devices, Bluetooth beacons, real-time clocks, and energy harvesting systems.

CeraCharge features a multilayer solid ceramic oxide electrolyte that poses no risk of fire, explosion, or leakage. The batteries feature a compact SMD design with an 1812 case size that allows for automatic placement and reflow soldering. CeraCharge batteries are rated for up to 1000 charge and discharge cycles and have a 100µAh nominal capacity and are rated for 1.5V.

The capacity is based on a 20µA discharge current, but the batteries can also supply several milliamps for short periods. TDK CeraCharge batteries are rated for operation from -20°C to +80°C.

  • All-ceramic structure, eliminating the risks of explosion, burning, and leakage of liquids
  • Compact SMD design in EIA 1812 case size
    • Reflow solder compatible
  • Up to 1000 charge/discharge cycles
  • Nominal capacity: 100µAh
    • Nominal voltage: 1.5V
  • Nominal discharge current: 20µA
    • Can supply several mA for short periods
