Vishay Anti-Surge High Power Thick Film Chip Resistors

Vishay’s anti-surge, high power, thick film chip resistors combine a significantly higher power rating and pulse load performance when compared to standard chip resistors. With superior ESD charge characteristics, these resistors are ideal for automotive, industrial, telecommunications, and medical applications. The small packaging allows for placement on any circuit board and passes industry-standard stress test qualification for passive components. These thick film chip resistors offer a large resistance range and low-temperature coefficient with an operating temperature that goes up to 155oC. Finally, resistance tolerances range from 0.5 percent up to 1 or 5 percent with a maximum resistance change of less than 1 percent over 1000 hours for the ultimate reliability.

  • Case sizes 0402 to 1206
  • Power Rating up to 500 mW (0.5 W) in 1206
  • AEC-Q200 qualified
  • Resistance range: 1 Ω to 10 MΩ, jumper 0 Ω
  • Temperature coefficient: ± 200 ppm/K; ± 100 ppm/K
  • Operating Temperature range:  -55 °C to +155 °C
