Keysight Intros High-Performance 4x100GE 1RU Cybersecurity Test Platform
The new modular 1RU cybersecurity test platform, delivers 400 Gbps throughput for validating modern AI and hyperscale network infrastructure under heavy traffic demands.
Keysight Technologies has introduced the APS-ONE-400, a modular 4x100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GE) network cybersecurity test platform designed to validate high-speed networking equipment under increasingly demanding traffic conditions. The platform combines Layer 4-7 application traffic generation, encrypted traffic testing, and cybersecurity validation in a compact 1 rack unit (1RU) appliance.

The APS-ONE-400 targets network equipment manufacturers, service providers, and data center operators developing infrastructure for AI, cloud computing, and high-speed networking. It expands Keysight's APS-100/400GE portfolio with higher traffic generation performance while supporting a modular architecture that can scale from a single appliance to multi-terabit test environments.
Built for High-Speed Network Validation
The APS-ONE-400 delivers 400 Gbps of Layer 4-7 throughput, 380 Gbps of hardware-accelerated TLS encrypted traffic, and 95 Gbps of Elephant Flow throughput from a single 1RU appliance. The platform includes four 100GE ports with fanout support for 100, 25, and 10GE networks, allowing engineers to test a variety of deployment scenarios without changing hardware.
The appliance is compatible with Keysight's BreakingPoint and IxLoad software suites, enabling realistic application traffic generation alongside attack libraries and automated security testing. It can also emulate cloud applications, hybrid data center traffic, NFV workloads, and 5G network slices while validating firewalls, load balancers, application delivery controllers, and other network infrastructure.
Designed to Scale with Growing Test Requirements
Rather than requiring a fixed high-capacity system, the APS-ONE-400 follows a modular "pay-as-you-grow" approach. It can operate as a standalone appliance or be combined with the APS-M1010 management controller or APS-M8400 appliance to create larger test environments.

The APS-ONE-400 is capable of running as a standalone or or can combine with the APS-M1010 management controller or AP-M8400 or APS-M1010.
When deployed in a fully scaled configuration, the platform can generate up to 16 Tbps of Layer 4-7 traffic, 15 Tbps of encrypted TLS traffic, 20 billion concurrent connections, and 25 million TLS connections per second. The centralized architecture also simplifies software management by allowing multiple compute nodes to be controlled through a single interface. AI Workloads Drive the Need for Higher-Capacity Testing
The APS-ONE-400 is also designed to generate Elephant Flow traffic, which consists of the large, sustained data transfers commonly found in AI training, large language model (LLM) workloads, distributed storage, and hyperscale data centers. These long-duration flows place continuous demands on switches, routers, firewalls, and other network infrastructure that can be difficult to replicate with conventional traffic patterns.
A single APS-ONE-400 appliance generates up to 95 Gbps of Elephant Flow traffic while fitting into a 1RU chassis. That combination allows engineers to recreate AI-scale network loads without dedicating large amounts of rack space, power, or cooling capacity. For organizations expanding existing test labs, the modular design also makes it easier to add capacity over time instead of replacing entire test systems.
