Born in Belgium but currently living in the Netherlands, Gilles is an electrical engineer whose core discipline is analog electronics. His passion is applying systems engineering to the design of analog electronics, which is referred to as structured electronics design. He graduated from Ghent University in 2017 and has a second Masters in Space Engineering from Delft University of Technology (2020). While he develops electronic amplifiers for sensors, actuators, power electronics, and RF communication systems that are needed in many industries, his favorite technology is space laser communications.
