Stephen St. Michael

Stephen St. Michael began his studies at the University of Louisiana as an English major focused in writing and linguistics. By his senior year, a deep interest in programming and electronics had taken hold. Shortly after obtaining a bachelor's degree in English, he enrolled in an electrical engineering program at McNeese State University. While in school, Stephen obtained industry experience in a number of different fields from automation and process control to industrial electronics. Since graduating with a second bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, he has worked as an embedded software engineer, writing firmware for industrial controllers used to automate plants and factories around the world. Stephen has a wide range of interests including digital system design, electronics, computer architecture, embedded system design, mechatronics, control, industrial automation, high-level math, and physics.
