Kikusui PXB Series
The Kikusui PXB series of 20 kilowatt DC bidirectional power supplies sit in a compact single 3U size frame and are ideal for defense, aerospace, avionics, EV, and renewable energy testing applications.
The PXB series can not only handle high voltages of 1500 volts but also has both power and regenerative modes.
The output of the PXB is bidirectional, allowing it to function as both a source or a sink depending upon the application.
The seamless transition between source and sink functions is ideal in EV battery testing where rapid charging and discharging is required.
The full power is also available at any input and there is no output power suppression by the input voltage.
The PXB can be paralleled for up to 200 kilowatts of power.
The programmable supply allows for sequencing, current and voltage control, pulse and sine wave functions, and a variable internal resistance.
All of these functions make the PXB series ideal as a battery emulator for EV testing.
The PXB series is also used for standards testing for EMC, airborne equipment, high voltage components and more.
