AAC’s Digital Datasheet video series introduces the specs and applications of components—both new and familiar—straight from their datasheets.

Panasonic TQC Series POSCAP™ Capacitors

Panasonic TQC Series POSCAP™ Capacitors offer large capacitance in a small package while providing low ESR, superior high-frequency characteristics, and excellent reliability. The TQC Series is based on a sintered tantalum anode and a proprietary high conductivity polymer cathode. The Capacitors are rated for 2,000 hours at 105 degrees Celsius and are a safe alternative to standard tantalum Capacitors.

The TQC Series is offered in compact, low-profile packages with a footprint as small as 3.5 by 2.8 millimeter and capacitance values up to 1,500 microfarads. This is paired with ESR as low as 5 milliohms and voltage ratings from 16 to 35 volts DC. The performance, size, reliability, and high heat resistance make the Panasonic TQC Series POSCAP Capacitors ideal for high-frequency digital circuits in space-constrained devices.
