TI’s HDC2010 is a highly accurate, 14-bit, low power temperature and humidity sensor in a compact WLCSP package.

This New Product Brief (NPB) is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.

TI HDC2010 Humidity & Temperature Digital Sensor

TI’s HDC2010 is a highly accurate, 14-bit, low power temperature and humidity sensor in a compact WLCSP package. The capacitive sensing element is mounted on the bottom-side of the package to protect against contamination, and the sensor includes a heating element to dissipate condensation and moisture to ensure accurate measurements. The sensor is factory-calibrated to humidity accuracy rated at ±2%, and temperature at ±0.2°C. Programmable thresholds can interrupt or wake the MCU, and programmable sampling intervals, low sleep and sampling current, and support for a supply voltage down to 1.8 V make the TI HDC2010 ideal for battery-powered applications, including smart thermostats, wearables, and monitoring cold chain transportation and storage.

  • Bottom-side sensor protects against dirt, dust, environmental contamination
  • Heating element dissipates condensation, moisture
  • Humidity Accuracy: ±2%
  • Temperature Accuracy: ±0.2°C
  • Sampling Intervals: 5 Hz to 1/120 Hz
  • Supply Voltage: 1.62V to 3.6V
