Vishay Y2 Interference Suppression Film Capacitor

Vishay’s F340Y2 305 volt-AC-rated Class Y2 capacitors are tested to THB Grade Three B: eighty-five degrees Celsius, eighty-five percent relative humidity for one thousand hours at rated voltage.

These AEC-Q200 automotive grade capacitors are designed to suppress interference on AC mains and other high voltage applications in a line-to-ground configuration. They feature a self-healing polypropylene film dielectric and a series construction to prevent shorting and ensure safe operation. Capacitors in the series range from 10 nanofarads to 1 microfarad with tolerance down to ±5%.

Vishay F340Y2 capacitors are available with various lengths of tinned wire leads with lead pitch ranging from 15 to 37.5 millimeters.

  • EC 60384-14 grade IIIB: 85°C, 85% RH, 1000h at URAC
  • AEC-Q200 qualified
  • Class Y2: for standard line bypass (between line and ground)
  • Series construction prevents shorting
  • Capacitance range: 0.01μF to 1μF, ±5%, ±10% or ±20% tolerance
  • Lead pitch: 15mm to 37.5mm
