Heilind/Molex Mirror Mezzanine Connectors | AAC Digital Datasheet

August 05, 2021 by Heilind Electronics

AAC’s Digital Datasheet video series introduces the specs and applications of components—both new and familiar—straight from their datasheets.

Heilind/Molex Mirror Mezzanine Connectors

The Molex Mirror Mezz Connectors lowers application costs with stackable mating to support data speeds up to 56 gigabits per second (Gbps) per differential pair for telecommunications, networking, and other applications.

These connectors feature a stitched ball grid array (BGA) design in a robust shrouded housing, which reduces lead times and allows for a simplified product matrix when compared to insert-molded BGA attachments.

The self-mating Mirror Mezzanine connectors are inherently hermaphroditic and allow these connectors to achieve mated stack height that meets an application’s requirements.

An intricately designed terminal structure with a robust shrouded housing offers numerous mechanical strengths while also providing cutting-edge electrical features to support among the fastest speeds in the industry.
