This New Product Brief (NPB) is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.

NXP’s S32K144EVB evaluation board is a flexible development system for automotive and high-reliability industrial applications. The board features the S32K144, an AEC-Q100 qualified ARM Cortex-M4F MCU with integrated CAN and LIN interfaces, hardware security module, and ASIL-B capability. The MCU is designed to reduce the complexity of applications where the highest reliability is critical.

The MCU is complemented by an Arduino UNO-compatible expansion header, CAN SBC, LIN PHY, and two touch electrodes. The board allows designers to quickly and easily prototype with and evaluate the S32K144 MCU for new designs in NXP’s S32 design studio, which is specifically tailored to development with ultra-reliable MCUs.
