IXYS High-Side & Low-Side Gate Driver ICs | New Product Brief
This New Product Brief (NPB) is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.
IXYS High-Side & Low-Side Gate Driver ICs
IXYS High-Side and Low-Side Gate Driver ICs can drive two N-channel MOSFETs or IGBTs in a high-side and low-side configuration.
They offer high-side operation up to 600 volts. The output drivers are capable of up to 4.5 amps of sink and 4.5 amps of source.
The low propagation delay matching between the high and the low side drivers allows for high frequency switching.
The logic inputs are compatible with standard TTL and CMOS levels down to 3.3 volts for easy interfacing with controlling devices.
The driver outputs feature high pulse current buffers designed for minimum driver cross conduction. These gate driver ICs are offered in – 8-, 14- and 16-lead SOIC packages and operate over the extended temperature range of -40 to +125 degrees celsius.
