ON SEMICONDUCTOR SECO-GDBB-GEVB Gate Driver Ecosystem Baseboard
ON Semiconductor’s Gate Driver Baseboard is a plug and play board used for testing various gate drivers under the same condition in order to aid gate driver selection. The board can host up to 6 gate driver daughterboards with boards readily available for a variety of ON Semi IGBT and silicon carbide gate drivers. The board is powered with a 15V supply and has 3 isolated DC to DC power supplies to provide voltages for silicon carbide and IGBT gate drivers.
The gate drivers can be controlled using the onboard PWM generator with adjustable frequency and duty cycle. Multiple test points are available to measure gate voltage and current during operation and users have the option of driving a capacitor or power device for the load.
