AAC’s Digital Datasheet video series introduces the specs and applications of components—both new and familiar—straight from their datasheets.

Staubli POAG Connector System

Staubli’s POAG connectors are designed in accordance with DIN 42801 part 2 for use in connecting leads for potential equalization in medical applications and use Staubli’s MULTILAM contact technology to deliver reliable, long-life operation with low contact resistance.

POAG sockets offer a good price-to-performance ratio and are made from nickel-plated brass with a MULTILAM contact band made of a gold-plated, hard-drawn copper alloy.  Sockets are available separately for self-assembly with screw lead or crimp terminations, with options for 4 and 6 square millimeter conductors. Staubli also offers leads assembled with POAG contacts on one or both ends, with lead lengths up to 4 meters.

Matching 6mm diameter plugs are available for flush mount applications as well as screw mounting to instruments, beds, wall rails and more.
