This New Product Brief (NPB) is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.

STMicroelectronics STM32G0 32-Bit MCUs

STMicroelectronics STM32G0 32-bit MCUs are cost-effective MCUs for consumer and industrial applications. The STM32G0 integrates a 64MHz Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core and a USB Type-C Power Delivery controller while offering active and standby current consumption that is significantly lower than previous generation devices. It also includes a fast 12-bit ADC, with hardware oversampling up to 16 bits, as well as low-power DACs and comparators.

The STM32G0 offers 14 timers, with two that can run at up to 128MHz, and a high-speed, high-accuracy internal clock to simplify PCB design. Packages are available with up to 60 I/Os, and all packages with 64 pins or less have a single power supply pair, further simplifying PCB design.

  • Core: Arm® Cortex®-M0+, up to 64MHz
  • USB Type-C™ Power Delivery controller
  • Current consumption: <100µA/MHz (at 64MHz), low-power modes as low as 10nA
  • Analog: 12-bit ADC (hardware oversampling to 16-bit), 2x comparators, 2x 12-bit DACs
  • Timers: 14, including 2x 128MHz capable
  • Up to 60 I/Os
