Amphenol ICC Rugged USB Type-C

Nobody likes a missed connection, and Amphenol’s MUSBR series USB Type-C connectors make it easy to connect in harsh environments. The MUSBR Type-C are second generation ruggedized connectors for the most demanding applications, with a die-cast metal housing to protect against impact and other mechanical damage and sealing to IP67 requirements. The connectors are sealed with internal and external flexible silicone rubber seals to ensure protection across the entire operating temperature and have a conductive front panel gasket. With all this protection, the MUSBR Type-C connectors still mate with a standard USB Type-C plug, which is non-polarized for easy mating. Amphenol offers the MUSBR Type-C connectors with a compact, low-profile housing in vertical or right-angle configurations, so you can easily find panel space in your design.

  • Die-cast zinc, nickel plated housing for mechanical ruggedness
  • IP67 sealing protects against water and dust
  • -55°C to +105°C operating temperature range
  • Mates with standard USB Type-C plugs
  • Compact low-profile design saves panel space
  • Right-angle or vertical mounting available
