Coilcraft 0603DC Chip Inductors | AAC Digital Datasheet

August 03, 2021 by Coilcraft

This episode of Tech Specs is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.

Coilcraft’s  0603DC Series ceramic chip inductors offer Q factors up to 177 at 2.4 GHz – the industry’s highest in an 0603 size for super low loss in high-frequency circuits. They also feature wirewound construction for high self resonance – up to 11.4 GHz – and achieve DC resistance as low as 29 mΩ, a DC resistance significantly lower than other inductors this size. They are offered in 45 inductance values from 2.7 nanohenries to 470 nanohenries. The 0603DC Series is AEC-Q200 qualified for performance from -40oC to 125oC, making it suitable for automotive and other harsh-environment applications. 0603DC inductors also feature a ceramic core material with RoHS-compliant matte tin over nickel over silver-glass frit terminations. These inductors experience a temperature coefficient of inductance (TCL) from 25 to 120 parts per million and a mean time between failures (MTBF) of over 4.5 billions hours for a high reliability component with little temperature drift.
