CYPRESS SEMICONDUCTOR Semper™ NOR Flash Memory Storage Solution
Cypress Semiconductor’s Semper NOR flash memory is a nonvolatile storage solution that integrates safety features for automotive and industrial systems.
NOR flash memory meets automotive functional safety standards such as interface and data integrity Cyclic Redundancy Check, SafeBoot, and built-in error correction code and is ASIL-B compliant and ASIL-D ready.
The AEC-Q100 qualified device's EnduraFlex™ Architecture enables endurance of 1+ million program and erase cycles or a data retention of 25 years at temperatures ranging from -40° C to +125° C.
In addition, the device provides JEDEC xSPI-compliant Quad SPI, HyperBus, and Octal interface.
Semper NOR flash devices provide the safety features needed to ensure critical industrial systems always have access to the right code and algorithms that power them.
Applications include automotive instrument clusters, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, and networking communications.
