TT Electronics Fiber Optic Transmitter Series

TT Electronics OPF350A and OPF352A fiber optic transmitters are high-performance devices based on an 850-nanometer gallium aluminum arsenide LED and are designed for high optical coupling efficiency into multimode fiber.

The transmitters are designed for high-speed operation and are ideal for use in all types of data communication equipment, including power generation communications, industrial ethernet, copper-to-fiber media conversion, and more. The transmitters can be used with a variety of fiber sizes and offer high thermal stability for consistent performance.

The OPF350A uses a TO-18 plastic clear-cap package that provides electrical isolation and has an industrial operating temperature range that extends up to 100 degrees celsius. The OPF352A uses the popular ST style receptacle and is intended for PCB or panel mounting, with an included lock washer, jam nut, screws, and protective dust cap.

  • 850nm GaAlAs LED transmitter
  • High efficiency power coupling - up to 810µW (IF = 100mA, 25°C)
  • High-speed operation: up to 35MHz
  • Fiber sizes: 50/125µm to 200/300µm
  • OPF350A: TO-18 plastic clear-cap package, -40°C to +100°C operating temperature
  • OPF352A: ST® style receptacle, designed for PCB or panel mounting
