STMicroelectronics STPTIC-15L2C4 Tunable Integrated Capacitor
STMicroelectronics’ Parascan Tunable Integrated Capacitors are ideal for adaptive RF tuning applications. The STPTIC is based on Parascan™ dielectric, which is a version of BST. It has a 5:1 tuning ratio and the capacitance is controlled by a 1V - 24V bias voltage, which can be generated using the STHVDAC series high-voltage control IC. The STPTIC allow for minimal leakage current from the bias voltage, with a maximum rating of 100nA. The capacitors offer high linearity, high-quality factor, and high power capability, allowing designers to optimize tunable RF filters or mobile phone antenna radiated performance. The STPTIC is offered in a 0.75 x 0.72 x 0.32 mm WLCSP with 3 solder bars and is ECOPACK®2 compliant.
