TE Connectivity offers a two-piece pluggable SMT connector solution: the Buchanan WireMate connector Surface Mount TB series. This series of connectors enables designers of lighting, industrial controls, and building automation systems to fully switch to surface mount technology and is compatible with reflow soldering temperatures for fast and simple assembly. TE’s Buchanan WireMate connector Surface Mount TB series connectors are available with up to 12 positions on a centerline pitch of 3.5 or 5 mm, and are rated up to 15 A at 300 V. Plugs offer various wire entry angles for maximum design flexibility, and retention options are available to secure the connectors to the PCB.

- 2-12 positions, 3.5 mm or 5 mm centerlines
- Current ratings (at 300 V): 8 A (3.5 mm), 15 A (5 mm, 2-9 positions), 10 A (5 mm 10-12 positions)
- 90˚, 180˚, 270˚ wire entry plugs
- Retention features ensure secure PCB mounting
