STMicroelectronics L20G20IS Two-Axis MEMS Gyroscope
STMicroelectronics L20G20IS is a compact two-axis MEMS gyroscope for use in optical image stabilization and similar applications. The L20G20IS has a selectable full-scale range, sensitivity up to 262 LSB/dps, and a low-rate noise density of 3.8 mdps/√Hz, allowing for highly precise measurements. It includes an ADC and high- and low-pass digital filters to process the sensor signal and output it to a three- or four-wire SPI interface. Both filters have a programmable bandwidth allowing designers to set the desired cutoff frequency of each. To support battery-powered and other low-power applications, the device operates from a 1.7 to 3.6 V supply and has low-voltage compatible IOs and power-down and sleep modes to extend battery life. The L20G20IS is available in a 2 mm by 2 mm LGA-12 package.
- Full-scale range: ±100 dps, ±200 dps
